NCD Yoga
NCD is now hosting our very own Yoga wellness class led by Cherry Fowler. Cherry brings 30+ years of Yoga experience, both as a participants, but also as a Yoga class instructor.
Join us for this mind and body wellness class, focusing on your physical posture, proper breathing, dynamic movements, and meditation; In addition to all the physical benefits of Yoga (improved strength, flexibility, balance, and overall mobility), this wellness class also aims to help reduce stress and anxiety, improve your mood and focus, improve sleep quality, better manage chronic pain, and assist in restoring your body's autonomic functioning.
Classes will typically take place on the 2nd floor in the "conference room". This will allow all participants the opportunity to use railing and/or a chair for support as needed. All exercises and movements can be modified based on your current functional abilities.
Registration is encouraged but not required
While we are accepting walk-ins, we do encourage you register ahead of time as we are only allowing up to 12 participants in each class.
Check-in
Please check-in at our MRI reception desk - 1st floor, right next to our therapy reception desk. We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before the class starts. If you have not already done so, you will be asked to pay before you enter the class.
Clothing & Equipment
If you prefer to use a yoga mat or yoga blocks, we ask that you bring your own. We also recommend bringing a towel and water as needed. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes to allow for movements. Shoes are optional based on your preference.
